Rhinofibrolaryngoscopy is a flexible endoscopy technique. Unlike traditional anterior rhinoscopy (which only views the entrance of the nose), the fibroscope allows bypassing the natural anatomical curves of the upper respiratory system. This provides the specialist with a clear and deep view of the turbinates, nasal septum, the area where adenoids are located (nasopharynx), and the larynx (vocal cords), something impossible to see with the naked eye.
